Old World Character, New World Convenience

The Sarabande Washable Flatweave Rug takes the language of antique Persian and baroque floor coverings and gives them a deliberately aged, distressed quality.

Designed by Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, the digitally printed design features a central floral medallion, scrolling corner motifs and an ornate border, all rendered with a washed-back finish that suggests decades of history the rug has not actually had. It is the kind of pattern that looks as if it was inherited rather than ordered online.

The Antique Look Without the Antique Problems

A traditional-looking rug with thoroughly practical credentials: the 100% polyester flatweave is machine washable, anti-slip backed and flat at 2mm. It lies flush on hard floors, requires no specialist cleaning and handles everyday use without complaint.

The distressed print finish also means day-to-day marks are far less visible than they would be on a cleaner, crisper design. A Sarabande runner brings the same vintage character to hallways and passages, making a graceful first impression before the main room.
